MaDaMe is a three-year research programme funded by the Academy of Finland in 2000 - 2003. The models and methods are from Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics, and one of the objectives of the research programme is to increase the collaboration between these three fields. Modelling techniques are used in Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Ecology, Forestry, Space Physics, Geophysics, Bioprocess Engineering, Process Technology, Economics, Business Administration and Social Sciences.
